Mesa Arch Morning

What can be said for one of the most famous image locations in the world? Well, I got lost in the dark on the trail to the Mesa Arch. So this picture almost did not happen. The farther I got on the trail the less well defined it became and eventually I took a wrong turn. So here I am wandering through the sand, rocks, cacti, and other desert brush with only a small flashlight for light. Eventually the sun began to lighten the sky and I walked towards the light until low and behold a massive arch appeared before me. Not to make this sound more serious than it was, I had snacks and a drink with me. But every person who gets very lost starts with just being a little lost. At any rate, back at the arch now I took up my position. Every now and then I forgot to take pictures because the sunrise was just so beautiful under the arch.
